The time of your has come to start thinking about the exercise routine for the Autumn. The children are heading back to school and new routines are afoot!

It is important that we all make a plan for the recommended 150 minutes of regular moderate weekly exercise, taking into consideration existing health conditions and injuries that might be hanging around!

There are some fabulous exercise groups in the north. There is our lovely Mooragh Park which has exercise equipment around the edge if you are feeling active. A walk around the park can be enough to start and there is always Costa for a nice coffee afterwards. The Tennis courts are in excellent condition and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved! Isle of man Tennis is a good place to start for information! Northern athletics and the famous Ramsey Fireman’s series starts again on October 3rd and information can be found at https://www.northernaciom.com/club-information or finding them on Facebook!

The swimming pool have some fantastic classes, aqua aerobics and ladies only sessions in addition to the regular sessions starting early at 7.30am. More information can be found by calling them on 812852 or finding them at http://northernswimmingpool.com/ and on Facebook.

There are Pilates classes at the gym on parliament street, Quay Fitness Gym (for gym, Pilates, yoga, fitness and spin classes (at all times of the day) on the Gladstone Estate and the fit hub (including over 60’s classes) on the bridge not to mention cross fit mean there are an array of activities to start you off!
