Getting back to the ‘new’ normal in clinics

Clinics are getting back up and running after the Covid-19 closure. It has been such an odd time for us all hasn’t it? Thank you for all the lovely messages and kind reviews you have left on the website. Especially for the online consultations, which will continue as an addition to normal clinic services after Covid-19. They have been so successful in continuing progress for pain relief and rehabilitation. I have had patients from the UK and the Island logging in for consultations and it is so successful for many conditions – lowering the risks of infection and saving on travelling to the clinic. Sessions are more cost effective too – you can even do clinic visits and online combined if that works better for you and your needs.

Many of the hospital services on and off the island will continue to be online and so it is something we will become more and more accustomed to in the coming months and years I imagine. Why not read the reviews for yourself?

The Douglas and Ramsey clinic days will expand over the coming months, but for now I am enjoying family time as well as working time, so do get in touch if I can help out with any rehabilitation, at home or in the clinic. I can be flexible with appointment times. I may be looking a little different (and warmer!) in PPE (mask, gloves and apron) but it’s the same level of care and follow up as before. Personal and specific – creating workable realistic goals and working towards them with the emphasis on independent self-management always.

I look forward to seeing you all soon – online or in person! 😊
